WRMP Website Resources

The WRMP website provides curated data and information on several key pages.

EcoAtlas WRMP Tools

The EcoAtlas toolset informs effective wetland management by providing public access to information about the quantity and quality of California streams and wetlands. It offers customized tools for tracking and reporting WRMP data, including a profile tool, dashboard, and map layers.

  • EcoAtlas WRMP Profile tool – Customized summaries by user-defined geographic areas of WRMP metrics about tidal wetlands such as tidal wetland extent, restoration status, unvegetated to vegetated ratio (UVVR), and elevation capital.
  • EcoAtlas SFBRA Dashboard – Summarized metrics that track tidal wetland restoration trajectories in projects funded by the San Francisco Bay Restoration Authority and other restoration sites.
  • EcoAtlas BHM 2020 – Display of the WRMP Baylands Habitat Map (BHM) 2020 alongside other relevant datasets, including habitat restoration efforts and wetland condition assessments.
  • EcoAtlas landing page – The complete picture of aquatic resources in the landscape by integrating the natural and built environment, restoration information, monitoring results, and other information important to California’s wetlands.

WRMP Data Catalog

The WRMP Data Catalog is a repository of San Francisco Estuary tidal wetland data.

  • WRMP Data Catalog – Find data by subregion, topic, source, WRMP indicator, or location.
  • WRMP Data Catalog Upload Tool – Upload your data and essential metadata using this portal. It is intended for researchers and practitioners to upload data relevant to San Francisco Estuary tidal wetlands that are validated and ready to be used broadly.

Data Sharing Policy

The WRMP Data Sharing Policy offers essential direction for data sharing, in alignment with the WRMP Program Plan.

The Policy describes the responsibilities associated with the program staff, program partners / contributors, and the general public who must agree to the terms in the Policy prior to using the data. It re-affirms key values, approaches, and practices, while also sharing the practical constraints of sharing data as openly and freely as possible.
