DESCRIPTION:You’re invited to a Wetlands Regional Monitoring Program (WRMP) webinar: Accessing WRMP Geospatial Results Through the WRMP Landscape Profile Tool in EcoAtlas! \n\n\nThe WRMP has launched full scale data collection of tidal wetlands around San Francisco Bay to answer key management questions that will enable more successful wetland restoration and more cost-effective permit driven monitoring. \n\n\nThe SF Estuary Wetlands Profile tool in EcoAtlas presents a compilation of metrics about tidal wetlands based on the Baylands Habitat Map 2020\, Project Tracker Tidal Wetland Restoration Map 2020 layer\, and Tracking Tidal Wetland Extent in SF Bay\, including tidal wetland extent\, restoration status\, unvegetated to vegetated ratio (UVVR)\, and elevation capital. The purpose of the Profile Tool is to support public policies and programs that protect aquatic resources and track regional progress towards meeting restoration targets. \nThis webinar will give a step-by-step tutorial on using the WRMP Profile Tool (http://sfei.li/wrmp-lp) to access and explore WRMP data. DESCRIPTION:The San Francisco Estuary Wetlands Regional Monitoring Program (WRMP) in collaboration with the California Department of Water Resources\, the Delta Stewardship Council\, and other partners have completed the first-ever estuary-wide lidar survey of the San Francisco Bay-Delta! This lidar dataset and related deliverables will be free and publicly accessible. \nMap of 2025 lidar data coverage. Courtesy of Delta Stewardship Council.  \nThis collection provides high-resolution elevation data across 1.25 million acres of Baylands\, offering an unprecedented three-dimensional view of the landscape\, landforms\, and habitat conditions. The level of detail captured across the estuary makes this a shared foundation for researchers\, engineers\, and land managers working to mitigate flood risk\, improve habitat restoration\, monitor subsidence\, and more. \nJoin us for a free webinar on Wednesday\, August 5th from 12:00 – 1:30 pm to learn more about the lidar\, how to access and download the dataset\, and how it can be used for wetland restoration\, shoreline planning\, and research. The first half of the webinar is geared toward managers\, regulators\, and other interested parties. The second half is for technical users looking to access and work with the data directly.
